An exciting opportunity has arisen at Lincoln City Football Club for a Sports Massage Therapist.
Primarily based at Gelder Group Sincil Bank Stadium, you will become part of the medical department, mainly contributing to the aims of the first team squad.
We are looking for a minimum SMA level 4 qualified therapist or equivalent, with the ability to provide a multidimensional approach and a multitude of services. A first aid at work qualification is also desirable.
We are looking for a hard working, highly motivated individual who is able to deal with the demands of professional football. The role will require the holder to implement skills such as injury prevention, rehabilitation, prehabilitation and soft tissue treatment as well as the ability to work to a flexible schedule.
Ideally the candidate should have previous experience working with professional athletes and be able to apply appropriate communication skills with colleagues, players and coaches.
Whilst reporting to the head physiotherapist you will be expected to work to a level of autonomy and apply your knowledge to the role, allowing a level of critical thinking.
Applicants must hold full membership to a professional association within the UK and must be willing to undertake continued professional development as part of the role.
All employees of the Club must adhere to rules and regulations of Lincoln City Football Club as well as the Football Association and Football Conference. Employment will be subject to satisfactory CRB check and two written references.
