Birmingham City goalkeeper Nick Townsend has today joined the Club on a month-long youth loan.
A regular for Birmingham's under-18 and under-21 sides, Townsend was on the substitutes' bench for Blues' FA Cup with Budweiser third round replay against Leeds United in January 2013, but to date has yet to make his senior bow.
Having gained experience during a loan spell with Oxford City in the Conference North towards the end of last season, Townsend is his first season as a professional with Birmingham having signed a contract in the summer of 2013.
The 19-year-old has been handed the vacant number 30 squad shirt.
