Board Happy With First Team Progress

10 November 2014

The Board of Directors would like to reaffirm their support for Chris Moyses and his backroom staff.

Chris, assisted by Grant Brown and David Preece, took over first team duties a week ago and despite suffering two narrow defeats, the Board are happy with the progress being made.

There are clear signs of improvement on the pitch, as we saw during Saturday's FA Cup tie at Eastleigh with the second half arguably seeing some of the best attacking football the team have played for some considerable time whilst the professional approach and dedication shown by Chris and his team has been second to none.

Chris is fully committed to Lincoln City Football Club and we would like to reassure supporters that he will remain in charge of first team duties for the immediate future, and certainly longer than the 'four games' that has been reported in the media.

We urge all fans to get behind Chris, his staff and the players during the coming weeks which sees the team travel north to Gateshead and south back to Eastleigh before successive home Saturday fixtures against Dartford and Southport.
