We are delighted to announce that skipper Alan Power has agreed terms on a two-year extension to his current contract with the Club.

Power, who first linked up with the Imps in the summer of 2011, will put pen-to-paper on the new agreement in the next couple of days with his fresh deal tying him to the Club until the end of the 2016/17 season.

The former Republic of Ireland youth international has been in tremendous form in recent weeks and has played a vital role in our recent run of seven wins from nine Conference games, weighing in with important goals in the victories over Grimsby Town and Barnet in the process.

"Alan's done a fantastic job since I've been manager, " said boss Chris Moyses.

"He's a model professional and a key member of Team Lincoln. I'm delighted that he's committed himself to Lincoln City Football Club for the immediate future."
