A reminder that Liverpool FC will bring their Under 18 Youth Team to Sincil Bank Stadium on Thursday 23 July to play against a Lincoln City Youth XI. Kick off will be 7:00pm.
Last July the youths entertained Arsenal’s Youth Team in front of nearly 1,400 spectators and the Academy is delighted to have been able to secure another prestigious pre-season fixture.
Liverpool’s Academy is considered to be one of the best and most prolific in the country - current and past Liverpool players to have graduated through the Academy include Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Michael Owen, Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard, Jon Flanagan and Raheem Sterling. And in 2006 former Lincoln City academy scholar Jack Hobbs played a significant part in the Reds’ FA Youth Cup success.
Admission prices for the game are £5 for adults and £1 for juniors and concessions. There will be no advance ticket sales so everyone can pay on the gate, although the Youth Academy will be announcing details of a special ticket offer promotion in primary schools and local junior football clubs very soon.
