A first half hat-trick from trialist Jonny Margetts secured a 3-0 pre-season friendly win at Boston United on Tuesday evening.
Margetts, who also netted a brace against Grantham Town in the Lincolnshire FA County Senior Cup supported by Bluefin Sport, scored twice early on at the Jakeman's Stadium before completing his triple from the penalty spot just before the break.Next up for the first team is their opening home friendly of the summer, with Championship side Reading bringing a side to Sincil Bank this Saturday, 16 July.
