Goals from second year scholar Jack Weatherall and trialist Jordan Penfold were enough to secure a 2-0 pre-season friendly success over Worksop Town on Saturday afternoon.
Manager Danny Cowley cast his eye over a number of youngsters and trialists in the match with Weatherall’s early strike and Penfold’s second half effort part of a dominant performance from the Imps.Next up for City is a trip to Boston United on Tuesday evening whilst an under-21 squad will travel to Cleethorpes Town on the same night.
