City boss Danny Cowley has been named the Vanarama National League Manager Of The Month for October.October concluded with the top two teams in the Vanarama National League each earning 14 points during a very busy month but whereas leaders Forest Green Rovers may top the table they lost in the FA Cup. So with City winning in FA Cup, albeit via a replay, they claimed the edge over Rovers.
As both teams played other Vanarama National clubs, the judging panel deemed it to be a fair comparison which on this occasion leads to success for Danny Cowley, who picks up his first trophy since joining the Imps in the summer.
"As with any recognition such as this, it's a team award rather than an individual one which is why I accept it on behalf of the staff, players and everyone else connected with Lincoln City Football Club," said Danny.
The Vanarama National League Player of the Month award went to Forest Green Rovers' goalkeeper Sam Russell.
City travel to Forest Green on Saturday 19 November for what promises to be a massive meeting in front of the BTSport cameras.
