The draw for Round Three of the Checkatrade Trophy will take place live on talkSPORT at 12.30pm on Friday 8 December.
Following the conclusion of the Round Two fixtures, the Imps are the only Sky Bet League Two side that remain in the northern section of the draw.
The is the final round that the draw is regionalised, meaning these are the potential opponents for the Imps in the draw:
- Blackpool
- Fleetwood Town
- Leicester City u21
- Oldham Athletic
- Bury
- Shrewsbury Town
- Rochdale
Ties will be played week commencing January, 8th. This draw will be regionalised into Northern and Southern sections, but will revert to an open draw from the Quarter-Finals (following round) onwards.
The final three Round Two fixtures take place tonight, with Blackpool v Mansfield Town the first of 10 exclusive live commentaries from the Checkatrade Trophy on talkSPORT 2 this season.
The focus will then turn to Friday lunchtime, with Lynsey Hipgrave set to oversee the proceedings for the Round Three draw live on talkSPORT.
talkSPORT pundit and comedian Bob Mills will join Lynsey on set to draw the balls alongside former Arsenal player and talkSPORT presenter Perry Groves.
As well as being broadcast live, the draw will be announced shortly after its conclusion via @CheckatradeTrpy on Twitter.
