We are saddened to hear the passing of former Imp, Raymond Scholey Barnard.

Born in 1933, Barnard played 113 times for Middlesbrough, before making the move from his hometown club to Lincoln in 1960 when we were in the Second Division.

In 1963, after making 43 appearances for the club, Barnard then moved on to Grantham Town in the Midland League.

Raymond passed away peacefully aged 84.

Lincoln City sends their condolences to Raymond’s family and friends at this difficult time.
