We are delighted to announce that winger Josh Ginnelly has re-joined the club on a season-long loan from Premier League side Burnley.

Josh returns to Sincil Bank following an impressive loan spell in the latter part of our title-winning campaign last season.

"We are delighted to be able to extend the loan of Josh," said manager Danny Cowley.

"We thought he bought into what we are and the pressing game we like to play. He’s got real talent, pace and he’s got a good end product."

The 20-year-old already has EFL experience having featured for Shrewsbury Town as a teenager, and he also spent a period of time on loan at Walsall last season before joining City at the end of January 2017 until the end of the season.

"We’re really excited to be able to offer the pathway for him to develop into the player we all know he can become," added Cowley.
