In association with the Red Imps Community Trust, a Champions Dinner has been arranged for 15th November 2017. The event will see players, coaches and managers from both the Conference winning side of 1987/1988 and our National League winning side of 2016/2017.
The event will include a Q and A session to be hosted by Rob Makepeace, with all the individuals involved in these promotion winning campaigns. There will also be a chance for autographs and photos with our heroes or with both the trophies which will be on display on the evening.
Confirmed attendees so far include Colin Murphy, Gordon Simmonite and Trevor Matthewson from the Conference winning side. Danny and Nicky Cowley are also confirmed attendees together with a number of the National League winning squad.
There will be a raffle and auction items and all profits from the evening will be donated to the Club’s Training Pitch Fund.
Please do support this evening which promises to be both entertaining and at the same time shining a light on the differences in football, from the inside, over a 30 year time difference.
The event which includes a 3 course meal is being held in the Travis Perkins Suite at Sincil Bank with a 7.00pm for 7.30pm start time. Tickets are still available but selling fast. Invitation is open to both male and female guests. Dress code is lounge suits or smart-casual for gentlemen.
