Lincoln City are awaiting EFL approval before being able to confirm if a deal for Simeon Akinola has gone through in time to meet the Summer Transfer Deadline.
The EFL has written to both clubs to request supporting documentation be provided in order for a further review to take place.
Lincoln City will update supporters as soon as further information is available.
