Saturday's 2018/19 Sincil Bank opener against Swindon Town will see the launch of the Buildbase Legends Lounge, as well as hosting Legends Day.

UPDATE: 09/08/2018

Former Imps midfielder Paul Miller, who made over 100 appearances between 1997 and the turn of the century becomes the latest recruit for Legends Day.

Phil Hubbard, who made just shy of 300 appearances in two spells at Sincil Bank between 1966 and 1979, scoring 60 times has also been added to the list of guests for Saturday.

Also, we have Alan Pilgrim who made 23 appearances for the Imps between the late 1960s and early 70s joining us at the weekend.

GMVC title-winning manager Colin Murphy will be in attendance too.

Record appearance holder Grant Brown will be among the guests for the Legends Day at Sincil Bank.

Grant made 469 appearances across the 1980s, 90s and the turn of the century, as he surpassed Tony Emery in becoming the club's all-time record appearance holder.

Brown also spent over a decade on the coaching staff at Sincil Bank, having first arrived on the coaching scene in 2005 as he returned as a Coach during the Keith Alexander play-off era.

1975/76 title-winners, Terry Cooper and Dennis Leigh will be in attendance in the University of Lincoln Fan Zone, Travis Perkins Executive Boxes, SRP VIP Lounge and the Buildbase Legends Lounge.

Joining the trio, who have made a combined total of just under 1000 appearances for the Imps , will be Matt Carmichael, Warren Ward and Gavin Gordon - who have over 50 goals for the club combined.

Not to forget the two goalkeepers, in Imps FPA Chairman Trevor Swinburne and John Kennedy, who made 278 appearances between the 1960s and 70s.

There are more former Imps set to join them, with additions to be announced in due course.

The members of the Imps FPA will be doing a lap of honour around the pitch at half-time, and supporters are welcome to take the opportunity to grab autographs and photos with the guests.
