Matt Green has today left The Imps to join Salford City for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old joins The Ammies after an 18 month stay at Sincil Bank, a period in which he featured 79 times for City.
Following his signing in the summer of 2017, Green scored The Imps’ first goal back in the Football League on his debut in City colours away at Wycombe Wanderers on the opening day of last season, his first of 23 goals for the club. His final strike came against Accrington Stanley in the Checkatrade Trophy second round defeat to Accrington Stanley in early December.
