The Imps travel to Rochdale this evening aiming to earn themselves a spot in the last eight of the Checkatrade Trophy and you can watch it all LIVE on Imps iFollow.
With the chance of a trip to Wembley getting ever closer, City go to the Crown Oil Arena in good form and with a 100% record in the competition so far, Rochdale will no doubt be wary of the threat that The Imps possess.
Dale boss, Keith Hill, is looking forward to what promises to be an enthralling encounter in Lancashire and heaped praise on City and the management team in particular.
“Lincoln have done brilliantly under Danny and Nicky Cowley and they are a club on the up,” Hill told the club’s official website.
“They’re a relatively big club within the footballing pyramid, and if you’re looking at League One and League Two success, then they’re right up there.
“They’re fresh, vibrant and have no fear, but they have a definite plan. Some young managers when they get into the game are very off the cuff but these two are planned and they’re being very successful.”
Both The Imps and Rochdale topped their respective groups before then progressing into the last 16 with wins in the first knockout round of the competition over Accrington Stanley and Doncaster Rovers respectively.
