Lincoln City Football Club are this afternoon delighted to announce the signings of Ellis Chapman and Lee Frecklington.

Frecklington joins the club on a permanent deal from Rotherham United. Also, it gives us great pride to announce that academy scholar, Ellis Chapman has signed his first professional contract with the Imps.

Frecklington returns to Sincil Bank following spells with Peterborough United and The Millers, gaining a wealth of Championship and League One experience.

The 32 year old is available for selection this weekend against Notts County and he has been allocated the number 19 shirt after signing a two and a half year deal with The Imps, the number which he wore when he made his debut for the club in 2003.

Ellis Chapman made his debut for the Imps earlier this season in the Checkatrade Trophy against Everton Under 21’s before picking up a second appearance in the same competition against Notts County, the win over County secured The Imps’ progression into the knockout stages of the competition. Chapman has signed a two and a half year deal with the club.
