Following the results of our Fans’ Survey, it was clear that car parking was an issue amongst supporters and local residents on match days and the club have teamed up with the City of Lincoln Council to produce a special offer for supporters.
We want you to look forward to the match and your time in Lincoln without having to worry about where to park. That’s why we’ve come to an arrangement with City of Lincoln Council and PaybyPhone for dedicated matchday parking at a special rate, just a short walk from Sincil Bank Stadium.
We will continue to offer parking on South Common, but in addition we are now offering official matchday car parking at Tentercroft Street, available for both home and away supporters throughout the day during all our home fixtures.
The Imps’ CEO, Liam Scully said: “The Fans’ Survey was completed by over 2,500 Imps’ supporters and the findings showed that the major area for improvement is our parking facilities. As a result of that, we have been working really hard to ensure that car parking on a match day significantly improves for everyone.
“I would personally like to thank our colleagues at the City of Lincoln Council for working with us to create this offer for fans which we feel offers excellent value for money.”
Fans can park from 8am until Midnight on matchdays at all the City of Lincoln Council car parks (except Lincoln Central Car Park) at a special price of just £4, but we would encourage you to choose Tentercroft Street for the best matchday experience. This will allow you to do some shopping, watch the match and get a bite to eat afterwards too.
However, this parking offer can only be accessed by purchasing parking through the PayByPhone app.
The app is available in both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the PaybyPhone app is the most convenient way to arrange your matchday parking. Simply download the app and sign up before you arrive to ensure a hassle-free day to enjoy the football!
Once parked, enter the special location code 801323 (not the one on display in the car park itself) to enjoy all day parking for £4.
So all you need to do now is search for ‘PaybyPhone’ in your smartphone’s store and download it today. Then make a note of the special location code for use on the day. Whoever you support and whatever the result, this parking offer is a guaranteed win!
