Lincoln City are delighted to announce that David Lowes has joined the board of directors at Sincil Bank.

David joins the Football Club after enjoying a 30 year career in Management and Marketing, with the majority of this being spent in the consumer goods sector with Unilever where he worked in a variety of senior executive roles, managing some of the world’s biggest food and beverage brands. He has held roles across the globe and has lived in Moscow, The Hague and Singapore and for the last three years has been working at Samsung as Chief Marketing Officer for Europe.

Born in Lincoln and raised in the county, David has been a fan since attending his first game in 1972. His parents still live in Lincolnshire and have been season ticket holders for many years at Sincil Bank.

“The club has been and remains a big part of my life and even though I lived abroad for many years wherever my career has taken me I have followed The Imps and attended as many games as possible." David said.

David has a wealth of experience in creating and executing strategy based on consumer & market insights and creating marketing communications including brand and product advertising, PR and media. He has led major product launches and events for Samsung as well as driven retail innovation and he is bringing his expertise to Sincil Bank to further develop Lincoln City Football Club.

“I hope that my experience can benefit The Imps in continuing to be progressive as a professional football club.”

He continued: “This is as important off the pitch as it is on it. As a fan I want more of the wonderful memories Lincoln City have given me and am now in a position to play my small part in helping create them.

“So my motivation in becoming a Director is simple - to help the club maintain the momentum generated over the last couple of years. I never want us to go backwards. I’m excited to be involved in ensuring we have the infrastructure in place, to enable the management team and players to be competitive and for the club to realise its ambitions in a way that can be sustainable”
