Supporters' message board and social media site Vital Lincoln City have continued their fantastic support towards the Imps by sponsoring members of our youth team.
Around 25% of the Under 18 squad are now sponsored by Vital Lincoln City as they continue to show faith in our young Imps. They now sponsor Tyler Finlay, Joshua Burns, Lewis Cox, Jon Smith, Kyle Watkins and Matty White from our youth team as well as first team members Tom Pett and Shay McCartan.
Vital Lincoln City have played a key part in fundraising the club year on year and even donated money towards our Elite Performance Centre prior to it being built.
Club Vice Chairman, Roger Bates said "Vital Lincoln City is a longstanding and valued supporter of the club, for which we are very grateful. Their backing of our Academy helped ensure we still had a youth section when we returned to the EFL. We now have ambitious plans to further develop our provision for young players and sponsorship such as Vital's help take these forward."
As sponsors of our upcoming Cowley v Cowley event, a representative from Vital Lincoln City said,
"Vital Lincoln City are delighted to sponsor the latest instalment of Cowley v Cowley. As a community site ourselves, it is terrific to see our management team and the players so engaged with the people of Lincoln. This is the perfect opportunity to show our continued support for the club, which over the last 7 years has seen us donate over £17,000 to Lincoln City.”
“The money is raised simply through our members contributing their views to our message board: very simple and fun at the same time. It is our way of saying thank you to the people who have given us so many fantastic memories during the last three years."
