Lincoln City Academy is hosting a U6-U8 Open Trial for the Club’s Pre academy and welcome any players of these age groups that live within an hour of Riseholme College, Showground Campus, Horncastle Lane, LN1 2ZR to attend on Wednesday 20th February.
This will be for the academy to identify any players we feel would be of the appropriate level for our Pre Academy (U7 – U8s). The Pre Academy is a crucial part of the long term success of our academy, and will play a critical role in helping the club to identify for the best players within our catchment area.
Since starting in February 2018, already the Pre Academy programme has grown significantly, with players receiving weekly coaching as well as a games programme which has included many brilliant experiences to the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham, Everton just to name a few! We hope this February half term we can engage young talented footballers into our Academy environment at Lincoln City Football Club.
In addition to our Pre Academy Open Trials, our Academy will be hosting U6-U8 festivals on Wednesday 20th February at our Academy training ground. We welcome any teams to register interest for the festival, to play against other local grassroot clubs as well as our current Pre Academy groups. Once we’ve received registrations, further details on formats, timings etc will be circulated out to all clubs. We look forward to welcoming parents, coaches and players to get involved with Lincoln City Football Club ahead of an exciting morning/afternoon of football. Please note there will be no cost for this event.
