The Imps will be looking to make it 12 unbeaten in the league on Saturday, as they travel to Forest Green Rovers.
City extended their unbeaten run as they grabbed a 96th minute equaliser against Exeter City on Tuesday night through summer signing John Akinde to earn a vital point in their hunt for promotion.
The 29-year-old has now scored 13 goals in all competitions, making him the Imps top scorer this season.
City are currently at the top of the SkyBet League Two table with 66 points to their name, three more than second placed Bury who beat Oldham 3-1 last weekend.
Recent Form
Forest Green are currently on the hunt for a play-off place as they sit seventh in the SkyBet League Two table.
Rovers have won 14 games this season scoring 50 goals in the process however, they suffered defeat in their most recent game with a 1-0 loss to Mansfield Town.
Mark Cooper’s side have won just two of their last six games which included a 2-1 loss at home to struggling Notts County.
Forest Green’s most recent win was a fortnight ago when they put three goals past Yeovil Town.
Former Middlesbrough forward Junior Mondal opened the scoring after 22 minutes before the recently-returned Christian Doidge added a second 11 minutes later.
Captain Lee Collins also got his name on the scoresheet just two minutes before the hour mark to confirm Rovers their first three points in four games.

Forest Green midfielder Dayle Grubb believes Rovers’ luck will soon change following defeat against Mansfield last Saturday.
“It was a difficult one because I didn’t think we played to our best capabilities. It was frustrating to watch and we know the lads can do a lot better. Going into half time at 0-0 it could have gone either way and we were unlucky at the end,” said the 27-year-old.
“I think against the top teams we have put in some top performances like at Lincoln away and Bury away there wasn’t too much between the two sides. It seems to be going against us and sooner rather than later the penny will drop.”
The former Weston-super-Mare midfielder went on to speak about the Imps who travel to the New Lawn this weekend.
“We put in one of our best performances of the seasons away to Lincoln, it is a tough place to go with a big crowd and I think we matched them.
“We were unlucky to be on the end of the wrong result but that gives us confidence in front of our home fans to go one better this weekend.
“Being out on the pitch it felt like we were going to go and get the next goal. It felt like we were controlling the game, we had a lot of possession, they didn’t really cause use many problems and we conceded from a disappointing goal.”
Grubb finished by explaining how Rovers will respect Lincoln going into this weekend’s clash: “They are top of the league for a reason, there isn’t a lot between the two sides but we will pay respects to what they’ve got.
“They are good at what they do and I feel if we play like we can then we can get the result.”

Forest Green Rovers have failed to beat Lincoln following promotion to the Football League at the end of the 2016/17 National League season.
Their most recent encounter was at Sincil Bank in November 2018 when the Imps came out on top as 2-1 winners.
John Akinde scored the first goal of the game after just eight minutes picking up Harry Anderson's pass to fire a shot low into the left-hand corner.
However, former Birmingham youngster Reece Brown equalised just four minutes later with a low strike which beat Imps shot stopper Josh Vickers.
On-loan wide man Kellan Gordon wrote the headlines in the 72nd minute as he came on as a substitute to score City’s winner and earn Danny Cowley’s side a vital set of three points.
The most memorable Forest Green vs Lincoln game dates back to November 2016 when the pair were in the National League.
The Imps came from being 2-0 behind to win 3-2 in the dying moments of the game.
City midfielder Alex Woodyard grabbed a goal back for Lincoln just four minutes after Keanu Marsh-Brown’s earlier strike for Rovers.
Luke Waterfall looked like he had bagged the equaliser for Lincoln in the 89th minute however, Sean Raggett had other ideas in the first minute of injury time when Sam Habergham's corner was headed in by the centre back.
One to Watch – Christian Doidge
Welsh striker Christian Doidge has impressed for Forest Green since his arrival in 2016. The 26-year-old has scored 60 goals in 109 Rovers appearances.
Prior to signing for Forest Green, Doidge played for Dagenham & Redbridge as well as a number of Welsh sides such as Barry Town and Carmarthen Town.
The 26-year-old made 46 league appearances for the Daggers between 2014 and 2016 scoring a total of 10 goals.
Doidge spent part of the current season at SkyBet Championship side Bolton Wanderers, joining the side on loan, with the deal set to be made permanent in January 2019.
He scored one goal in a Wanderers shirt against Rotherham at the start of the campaign.
However, due to Bolton being under a transfer embargo the deal did not proceed as planned and the striker returned to The New Lawn.
This season, the forward has scored eight goals in 14 League Two games for Forest Green.
