It is with regret that we announce that Running Imp will no longer be the back of shirt sponsor for The Imps from this coming season.
Due to the effect of Covid-19, both parties have agreed a mutual end to the agreement which began at the start of the 2017/18 season.
Lincoln City’s Head of Commercial, Andrew Whitham, said it is unfortunate that the current deal has come to an end, but hopes that the two businesses could be reunited in the future.
“Running Imp have been and continue to be loyal supporters of Lincoln City Football Club and we thank them for that support and all they have done for the club. We hope that they can once again be a club partner in the future.”
Chris Illsley, CEO of Running Imp, too says whilst it’s difficult to not be partners with the club any more, they are hopeful that the partnership may resume at a later date.
“We have really enjoyed being a partner of the club during what has been a really successful period in their history. However, current circumstances mean that it’s not possible to continue with our relationship. But whilst we are no longer a partner, we still wish the club all the best for the forthcoming season and we are hopeful that we may be able to once again return to being a club partner at some time in the future..”
