Sean Roughan’s second half strike secured the Republic of Ireland U19s qualification to the Elite Round of the UEFA European Championship qualifiers.
Sean’s effort was enough to see Ireland progress to the next stage having finished joint top of Group 6.
Lewis Fiorini played another 90 minutes for Scotland U21s on Tuesday night. They were defeated 2-0 by a strong Belgium side, who remain unbeaten in Group I.
Josh Griffiths continued to gain valuable experience as a substitute for England U21s. They were beaten 3-2 by Georgia in a friendly match at the Batumi Stadium.
