The leading law firm in Lincolnshire were placed at 111 in the Lawyer’s UK Top 200 for 2021 and have been a long-standing partner for the Imps, recently increasing their partnership from bronze to silver standard.

The director of commercial affairs at Lincoln City, Andrew Whitham, said: “Wilkin Chapman are an organisation whose reputation is associated with all the attributes and qualities we admire at the club.

“They are an organisation in which we have worked alongside for a number of years, and I am delighted there is a clear benefit for both parties and they have chosen to increase their partnership with us.

Oliver Tasker, partner at Wilkin Chapman and lifelong Imps fan said, “It’s fantastic to be involved with the Club for another year and to build on our work as the Club’s solicitor and legal partner. We have seen the power and value of working with the Club and connecting with the other partners through events such as Imps Connect which made the decision to increase our sponsorship a very easy one.

“There is a positivity and drive for all businesses associated with the Club to work together and collaborate and I would encourage any business to become involved to help support the Club both on and off the pitch,” he added.

Oliver explained, “We’ve been working with the Imps to improve facilities for the fans with its latest exciting chapter, the expansion of the Stacey West stand. With planning permission granted early in 2020, hard work has been continuing behind the scenes including the development of the Investment Bond Scheme to deliver the expansion project ready for the 22/23 season.

“As a passionate season ticket holder, I’m really excited to be involved with the Club for another season. We’re keen to continue to help both the Club and the fans. The expansion of the Stacey West Stand is integral to delivering a lasting legacy through improved community facilities for the City and an improved match day experience for fans.”

CEO at Wilkin Chapman, Robin Simmonds attended his first Imps match last year and commented, “This is an exciting opportunity to work with a huge and successful local brand on their journey to improve not only the club and community, but the local area too.”
