A group of academy goalkeepers had a special visit from Josh Griffiths and Sam Long last week, accompanied by first team goalkeeper coach Steve Croudson.
The pair watched over Academy goalkeeping coach Charlie Andrew’s session and answered questions from the aspiring keepers, ranging from how they deal with nerves to how they find distribution within the Imps’ style of play.
Charlie said: “It was a really good experience for all of our academy goalkeepers. They were all excited to meet Josh and Sam, who are excellent role models for our goalkeepers to look up to.
"Josh and Sam gave our goalkeepers some great advice during the session and it's great that we are able to form a bond from Josh as the number 1 goalkeeper, to our youngest goalkeepers in the under 9s.”
