High-flying Danny Mandroiu secured a spot on the scoresheet yet again as City beat Barnsley on Tuesday evening.
Following a month with tough opposition, Mandroiu praises the team’s work ethic resulting in the Imps being unbeaten in the last five games.
He said: “We have had a tough run of games this month, but we have been able to dig a good amount of points so we are all delighted.
“We all work for each other, there is no man who does not work. We have a great team and everyone put in the hours.”
The Irishman is impressed by the support this season and the 1,231 fans who took the trip to Barnsley, didn’t go unnoticed.
He added: “The fans were unbelievable. They haven’t stopped singing since I got here.
“Especially tonight, I don’t think they stopped once. Just unbelievable.”
