City completed the signing of defender Alex Mitchell on a season-long loan from Sky Bet Championship side Millwall in the summer of 2023.
He made his first start for the Imps in the penalty shootout win at Premier League side Sheffield United in the Carabao Cup back in August.
Prior to his move to the LNER Stadium Mitchell had spent time at Bromley, Leyton Orient and St Johnstone on loan.
