Hayden Cann joined City aged eight and made excellent progress becoming an integral part of the youth team whilst still a schoolboy.
Cann signed his first professional contract with the Imps in October 2020 before making his first team debut as a second half substitute in the 3-1 EFL Trophy win against Mansfield Town.
In August 2021, Cann joined Northern Premier League side, Gainsborough Trinity on loan. The defender then spent the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Lincoln United.
The defender is currently with Drogheda United on loan after spending the first half of 23/24 with Peterborough Sports.
