Jack Burroughs is grateful for the opportunities that have been afforded to him since joining the Imps on loan.
The wing-back has appeared regularly for City this season and the Coventry loanee hopes to continue the form that has seen him play a crucial role for the Imps.
Burroughs said: “To come here and play as many games as I have in such a short period of time - I’m really grateful for the opportunity, and I’d like to think that I’ve contributed well to the team.
“I just want to repay the faith the coaching staff have put in me and hopefully I can keep that going for the remainder of the season.”
Burroughs has also been impressed with the backing from the supporters and is excited by the large away following heading to Pride Park on Thursday night.
He added: “It’ll be a tough game and we’ll need the support behind us. The fans are always really vocal home and away.
“It’s a shorter trip for them and we love having a big backing behind us, so hopefully we can put on a show for them.”
