A new support team will help fans at the LNER Stadium on matchdays.
Assisting the supporter liaison officers and the matchday safety stewards, the Here to Help team will have remit to help make the LNER Stadium a more welcoming environment for all supporters.
They will be located around the stadium at key entry points as well as being approachable around the ground and will be identifiable by red hi-vis bibs. They will provide a friendly welcome to supporters attending the LNER Stadium, are on hand to provide directional guidance for those who need it and support the SLOs providing information about the matchday.
Head of supporter services Rob Noble said: “Each game we see a number of first time and infrequent visitors to the LNER Stadium and the new ‘Here to Help’ team will have a dedicated role to assist them and help maximise their enjoyment of the day.
“They will be on hand to help people get to where they need to be and provide information that will enhance their matchday experience. They will also be there to help frequent match goers with problems as they arise as well as assist with queue management at the turnstiles.”
